TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 11 Chinese military aircraft, 2 balloons, and 9 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on January 9th, 2025.
Of the military aircraft spotted there were fighter aircraft, eight drones, support aircraft, and two balloons that flew at an altitude of between 30,000 and 34,000 feet.
