Of the military aircraft spotted there were fighter aircraft, drones, bombers and 3 balloons. 5 of the military aircraft spotted crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered into the island's southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

The balloons flew at between 15,000 and 18,000 feet in altitude between 34 nautical miles and 152 nautical miles southwester of Taichung City, Taiwan.
