YEMEN - A "suspicious approach" incident has been reported 13 nautical miles southwest of Al Mukha, Yemen by 12 small crafts consisting of a mixture of fast boats, and smaller kayak-type boats, some uncrewed.
The closest point of the approach by the 12 small crafts was 1 and a half nautical miles where the small craft remained in the vicinity of a merchant vessel for about one hour before leaving the area.
The vessel and crew are reported to be safe, and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call. Authorities are investigating the incident and vessels are advised to transit the region with caution and report any suspicious activity.
