17 Chinese Military Aircraft, 7 PLAN Vessels, 1 Official Ship Spotted Around Taiwan, Taiwanese Fighter Jet Crashes Into Sea
A single-seat Mirage 2000 fighter jet from Taiwan's Air Force crashed into the sea during a night training flight.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 17 Chinese military aircraft, 7 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels and 1 official ship were spotted operating around the island of Taiwan on September 10th, 2024.
Additionally, a single-seat Mirage 2000 fighter jet from Taiwan's Air Force crashed into the sea during a night training flight.
The pilot was able to eject from the aircraft and was rescued by a Taiwanese Coast Guard patrol boat and is in stable condition. He will be transported to the military medical facilities for further evaluation.
