TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 21 Chinese military aircraft and 7 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on April 21st, 2024.
On April 20th, 29 Chinese military aircraft and 8 PLAN vessels were spotted around the island.
The number of military aircraft and naval vessels spotted around the island the last two days remain highly elevated.
Of the military aircraft spotted today, 17 crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered into the island's northern and southwestern air defense identification zone (ADIZ).
