24 Military Personnel Were Injured Last Week In Drone Attacks On US Bases In Syria, Iraq
Defense Department: Attacks On American Bases Had Iranian Fingerprints All Over It, Prospect For More Significant Escalation Against American Forces.
SYRIA/IRAQ - 24 military personnel were injured during last week’s attacks on U.S. military bases located in Syria and Iraq, according to a statement by US Central Command cited by NBC.
Pentagon Press Secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder revealed on Tuesday that American forces based in the Middle East went under attack 13 times in the last week in Syria and Iraq "via a mix of one-way attack drones and rockets," he said during a press briefing with reporters.
“We know that these groups are groups that are backed by Iran. We will ultimately hold Iran responsible,” Ryder stated.
