TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 25 Chinese military aircraft, a carrier rocket launch, and 10 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 31st, 2024.

Of the military aircraft spotted were fighter aircraft, drones and helicopters, 20 of which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered into the island's southwestern and eastern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
