Taiwan's Ministry of Defense has reported 26 Chinese military aircraft, 10 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels, and one Chinese Balloon around Taiwan.

TAIPEI - Taiwan's Ministry of Defense has reported 26 Chinese military aircraft, 10 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels around the island of Taiwan on December 8th, 2023, and one People's Republic of China (PRC) Balloon on December 7th.

Concerns Over Chinese "Spy Balloon" Using American-Made Technology

The number of aircraft and vessels spotted today are both highly elevated, and the presence of a Chinese balloon in the region is also unusual.
