39 Chinese Military Aircraft, 8+ PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan On January 7th, 2025
Of the military aircraft initially spotted there were fighter jets, drones, and bombers, later, 24 Chinese military aircraft were detected.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 39 Chinese military aircraft and 8+ PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted operating around the island of Taiwan on January 7th, 2025.
Of the military aircraft initially spotted there were fighter jets, drones, and bombers, 14 of which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered into the island's southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
Later, 24 Chinese military aircraft were detected, out of which 18 crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered into the island's northern, central, southwestern, and eastern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), operating along with other PLAN vessels.
