All Reports On ZNPP

The statement released by the ZAES said that it was a Ukrainian Kamikaze drone "arriving in the area of a canteen" and located on the territory of the nuclear power plant. It added that a truck unloading food was damaged as a result.

The IAEA statement, however, stopped short of saying which country had sent the attacking drone but did report that a drone attacked the ZNPP.

After allegations by Russia that the attack was carried out by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone, Ukraine released a statement denying the allegations and saying that Ukraine is not involved in armed provocations against the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which it says is being illegally occupied by Russia.

The IAEA, however, said in a statement that their inspectors witnessed Russian troops engaging “what appeared to be an approaching drone” while they were at the reactor building’s roof and that it was followed by an explosion near the reactor building.
