MOGADISHU - The Al-Shabaab militant group has claimed responsibility for an attack in Mogadishu on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, which they allege targeted President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, whom they refer to as "Hassan Gurgurte." Update: The Somalian government has confirmed the attack took place.
