Indian military reports claim these clashes were often initiated by "unprovoked firing" from Pakistani posts, while Pakistan has not publicly addressed these specific allegations, heightening fears of broader conflict.
Pakistan sent naval forces to the Arabian Sea, launching live-fire drills as the Indian Navy conducted its own anti-ship missile tests using Kolkata-class destroyers and advanced frigates. Both countries remain on high alert.
