April 10-11th Overview: US Engages Drones Over Gulf Of Aden And Yemen, Drops Humanitarian Aid Into Northern Gaza
To date the U.S. has dropped approximately 852 tons of humanitarian assistance supplies into Gaza.
YEMEN/GAZA - Overview for April 10-11th, 2024: U.S. Central Command "successfully" engaged and/or destroyed 11 drones over the Gulf of Aden, and in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. Additionally, US forces dropped over 50,680 U.S. meal equivalents into Northern Gaza on April 10th, and 6,000 pounds of food into Northern Gaza on April 11th.
During the drop, one of the bundles landed in the shallow water near shore, according to U.S. Central Command.
"USCENTCOM does not assess civilian harm or damage to infrastructure at this time but continues to monitor the situation," the statement said.
To date the U.S. has dropped approximately 852 tons of humanitarian assistance supplies.
