YEMEN - Incident report 111 regarding the explosions reported in close proximity to a vessel 57 nautical miles south of Aden, Yemen has been updated.
According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) the vessel had an explosion in close proximity to an Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) that caused minor damage to the ship.
The targeted ship and its crew are reported to be safe, the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.
