MIDDLE EAST — A U.S.-mediated ceasefire agreement has been reached in Aleppo, Syria, allowing the Syrian Democratic Forces to withdraw from Kurdish-controlled neighborhoods following days of clashes with Syrian transitional government forces that resulted in at least 23 deaths and over 100 injuries, with thousands displaced as of January 12.
