DEER PARK - A chemical release at the City of Deer Park in Texas has caused the city to issue a shelter-in-place order.

The chemical that was released is currently unknown, but officials said there is no danger to homes nearby and that the Lubrizol Emergency Response team is handling the situation. Tidal Road is closed, emergency vehicles are at the scene.
