Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan June 10th, 2023

Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.

5 Chinese military aircraft and 5 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on June 10th, 2023 according to a statement by the Taiwanese Ministry of Defense. 

Of the military aircraft spotted, there was one KA-28 antisubmarine warfare (ASW) helicopter that entered Taiwan's southwest air defense identification zone (ADIZ).
