Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan July 3rd, 2023

Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.

According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, 12 Chinese military aircraft and 6 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 3rd, 2023. 

Of the military aircraft spotted, there was one SU-30 multirole fighter aircraft that crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
