Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan June 11th, 2023

Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.

According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, 28 Chinese military aircraft and 9 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the Taiwan Strait on June 11th, 2023.

Initially, 4 aircraft and 5 vessels were detected, then later 24 aircraft and 4 vessels were detected. The vessels were reported to be carrying out a joint combat patrol.
