Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan September 16th, 2023

Taiwanese Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond to these activities.

According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, 9 Chinese military aircraft and 10 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on September 16th, 2023. The number of PLAN vessels spotted today is higher than normal, military aircraft are slightly higher than normal.
