Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan June 5th, 2023

Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.

According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, 8 Chinese military aircraft and 5 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on June 5th, 2023. 

Of the military aircraft spotted, one KA-28 antisubmarine warfare helicopter entered Taiwan's southwest air defense identification zone (ADIZ).
