Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan June 12th, 2023

Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.

24 Chinese military aircraft and 5 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on June 12th, 2023 according to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense. 

10 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait: Four J-16 fighter jets, including four J-11 fighter jets, and Two SU-30 multirole aircraft.
