Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan January 4th, 2024
Three balloons were spotted around the island today, one of which flew directly over the island of Taiwan. The number of Chinese naval forces spotted is slightly elevated today.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense six Chinese military aircraft and six PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around Taiwan on January 4th, 2024.

TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 9 Chinese military aircraft (4 PRC balloons) and 4 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on January 3rd, 2024. Four Chinese balloons flew directly over the island of Taiwan today between 100 and 160 nautical miles from a Taiwanese military base: Chuan Kang Air Base (CCK), and 78 miles northwest of Keelung. This is highly unusual behavior.
