Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan January 18th, 2024
The number of military aircraft spotted today is greatly elevated. Taiwan also reported a carrier rocket launch from China's Wenchang Space Launch Site.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 24 Chinese military aircraft and 5 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on January 18th, 2024. The number of military aircraft spotted today is greatly elevated.

Taiwan also reported a carrier rocket launch from China's Wenchang Space Launch Site which headed toward the West Pacific and did not enter Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone.
