Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan July 7th, 2023

Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.

According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, 15 Chinese military aircraft and 6 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 7th, 2023. 

Of the military aircraft detected, there was one Y-9CC aircraft that entered Taiwan's southwest air defense identification zone (ADIZ), according to the report.
