Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan November 9th, 2023
The number of military aircraft spotted is elevated today. The Chinese Shandong Carrier Strike Group also sailed north along the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 13 Chinese military aircraft and 5 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on November 9th, 2023. The Chinese Shandong Carrier Strike Group also sailed north along the median line of the Taiwan Strait, Taiwan deployed "appropriate forces to respond".
UPDATE: Taiwan reported a Chinese satellite launch with a Long March carrier vehicle from Xichang Satellite Launch Center, the flight path that crossed over Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ).
