Taiwan: Taiwanese Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond to these activities.
According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, 32 military aircraft and 9 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on August 26th, 2023. [Numbers of both military aircraft and vessels are much higher than normal. Flight patterns show flights all around the island].
