Chinese Military Aircraft, Balloons, PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan January 25th, 2025, China Sends New Satellite Group Into Space
Taiwan: The rocket's flight path passed over central Taiwan, heading toward the western Pacific, and its trajectory was above Earth's atmosphere.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 28 Chinese military aircraft, 2 balloons, and 8 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around Taiwan on January 25th, 2025.
Of the military aircraft spotted there were fighter aircraft, bomber/s, support aircraft, drones, and balloons. 27 of the military aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered into the island's southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
According to the military of both Taiwan and China, on January 23rd, China conducted a carrier rocket launch carrying a satellite.
Taiwan reported the launch as coming from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan, and China reported a launch from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province that day.
