YEMEN - An incident has been reported 102 nautical miles southeast of Nishtun, Yemen where a small craft approached within "1 cable of the vessel" and there was an exchange of small arms fire.
The report by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said that the armed security team and occupants of the small craft exchanged small arms fire, after which the small craft left the area.
The vessel and its crew are reported to be safe and the vessel is heading to the next port of call. The UKMTO advises vessels to transit the region with caution and report any suspicious activity.
