SJ Reports On Mideast

The announcement by the U.S. Embassy in Haiti came after Spirit Airlines Flight 951 carrying 48 passengers was hit multiple times by gunfire at 600 feet above ground while attempting to land at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The incident did not lead to any injuries of the crew or passengers of the aircraft which was diverted to Santiago, Dominican Republic where it safely landed.
