Gunman Fires Shots At US Embassy In Lebanon
White House National Security advisor Jake Sullivan said one of the embassy's Lebanese security guards was lightly wounded during the attack.
LEBANON - The U.S. Embassy in Beirut reported that the embassy staff and building were safe after the Lebanese military reported that a gunman had fired shots at the U.S. Embassy.
The Lebanese army said they returned fire on the gunman, with the gun battle lasting nearly 30 minutes, wounding the Syrian national who was then taken to a hospital local media reported.
