Israel Carries Out Ground Operation To Rescue Hostages In Rafah, Southern Gaza
A joint operation was carried out by the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Israel Police (YMM) in Rafah, rescuing two Israeli hostages from the Hamas terrorist organization.
GAZA/ISRAEL - Heavy shelling by Israeli forces was reported in Rafah in Southern Gaza according to Arab and Syrian media which is reporting at least 100 deaths and dozens injured as a result of Israeli aircraft bombing 14 homes and 2 mosques. The IDF has now reported they carried out an operation to rescue hostages in the city.
The Israeli IDF has now confirmed that they had carried out a ground operation within Rafah in order to rescue hostages that had been kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization.

The shelling comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his intention to go ahead with the plan to carry out a ground invasion on the remaining Hamas terrorists in southern Gaza, adding that "victory is within reach".
