Houthi Forces Launch Missile and Drone Strikes on Mokha Port
On August 9 Yemeni government forces reported intercepting six drones, while two ballistic missiles fell into the sea without hitting targets.
YEMEN — On August 9, Houthi forces launched ballistic missiles and drones at the Red Sea port of Mokha in western Yemen’s Taiz province, a facility controlled by forces aligned with Yemen’s internationally recognized government.
Yemeni government sources reported 7 to 11 people killed and dozens wounded, with damage to port infrastructure, employee housing, and nearby areas.
