UKRAINE — On June 27, 2025, a drone attack near the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) damaged several vehicles and caused a fire, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The attack, which involved six drones, occurred approximately 600 meters from the nearest reactor, outside the plant’s perimeter. While no injuries were reported, the incident highlights the ongoing risks to nuclear safety amid the military conflict in Ukraine.
