YEMEN - One day after the Houthi claimed responsibility for a drone attack on Tel Aviv, Israeli fighter jets struck targets in the Yemeni port city of Al Hudaydah.

The Israel Defense Forces added that the retaliatory response also comes after “hundreds of attacks carried out against the state of Israel in recent months”.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said “the blood of Israeli citizens has a price,” and added that “result will be identical”.

“The fire that is currently burning in Hodeidah is seen across the Middle East and the significance is clear. The first time that they harmed an Israeli citizen, we struck them. And we will do this in any place where it may be required.”
