Israel: Close To Coming To An Agreement With Hezbollah Despite Continued Tit-For-Tat Attacks Between The Two Sides
The Israeli Air Force has announced that it has again attacked Lebanon's capital Beirut targeting terrorist locations within Da'ha, where it says launches were detected from earlier this morning.
ISRAEL/LEBANON- Despite ongoing tit-for-tat attacks between the Israeli military and Hezbollah in Lebanon Israel's ambassador to the United States Mike Herzog said that the two sides are close to coming to an agreement.
The ambassador told Israeli Army Radio, "We are close to an agreement, it could happen within days, some corners remain to be closed.”

Additionally, Commander of U.S. Central Command General Michael "Erik" Kurilla arrived in Israel on Friday and conducted a situational assessment.
Israeli Military: [On Friday], the Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael “Erik” Kurilla, arrived in Israel as the official guest of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi.
The Chief of the General Staff and the Commander of CENTCOM conducted a situational assessment along with the Head of the Operations Directorate and the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command.
The situational assessment focused on security and strategic issues, with an emphasis on Lebanon. The IDF will continue to deepen its relationship with the U.S. Armed Forces which is the result of our commitment to strengthening regional stability and the coordination between the two militaries.
Over the last day, sirens sounded in Northern Israel, including Northern Golan, Upper Galilee, Dishon and Malkia, Yiftah, Metula, Yir'on, Kfar Aza, Kfar Yuval, Dalton, Rehaniya, Western and Center Galilee, Avivim, Misgav Am, and Sharon, Yarkon, Dan, Samaria, Haifa Bay, HaAmakim, HaMifratz and Menashe.
Also, the Coordinator of the Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) has reported that since the war in Gaza started between the Israeli military and Hamas terrorist organization, 1,138,847 tons of humanitarian aid has entered the Gaza Strip on 57,545 trucks.
COGAT reported, “Since the start of the war, we have worked on developing many aid routes to facilitate humanitarian aid into and across of Gaza. Aid enters the Gaza Strip via land, sea, and air, in coordination with partners in the international community”.
