Israel/Lebanon Situation Update - December 27th, 2023

The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry has reported that over 21,110 people in Gaza (it claims two-thirds of those were women and children) have been killed, and 54,918 wounded.

ISRAEL/LEBANON - Israel has reported attacking Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon in response to missile fire by Hezbollah toward locations within Israel.

Arabic news agency Al Jazeera and Iranian semi-official state news agency Tasnim made claims that 12 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon toward Israeli military bases in Shabaa and Jalil al-Ala. 

"Al Jazeera announced that 12 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards the Zionist military bases in the occupied fields of Shabaa and Jalil al-Ala," a translated statement from the Iranian Tasnim news agency said. 

Current Israeli, Gazan Death Toll

The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry has reported that over 21,110 people in Gaza (it claims two-thirds of those were women and children) have been killed, and 54,918 wounded since the start of the Israeli attack on the strip 11 weeks ago after the Hamas terrorist organization carried out its assault on Israel, with the death toll of Israelis standing at around 1,332 as of December 1st, with over 10,580 Israelis reported to have been wounded as of December 8th, 2023.
