JORDAN AND STRAIT OF HORMUZ — Jordanian air defenses intercepted eight missiles that entered the kingdom’s airspace at dawn on August 31, the Jordan Armed Forces said, hours after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed ballistic-missile and drone strikes on two air bases in Jordan that host U.S. forces.
The statement did not name the launch origin, and said the missiles were destroyed before they posed a threat to citizens or property.
