The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reports that there were was no damage to the vessel, and the crew are all safe and well. The vessel is now transiting to its next port of call and authorities are currently investigating the incident.

It further advises all vessels transiting the region to do so with caution and report any suspicious activity.
