National Resistance Forces Destroy Houthi Explosive Boat Near Mokha
The incident occurred amid continued Houthi claims of operations against Saudi-linked oil tankers under a naval blockade in the Red Sea that began in late July.
MIDDLE EAST — On August 7, the military media of Yemen’s National Resistance Forces announced that naval patrols detected and engaged a Houthi boat moving at abnormal speed toward a restricted area off the Mokha power station on the Red Sea coast, destroying the vessel before it reached an oil tanker.
The National Resistance Forces, aligned with Yemen’s internationally recognized government and operating along the western coast, announced the boat was laden with explosives.
