Netherlands Ministry of Defense: NATO’s SNMCMG1 fleet is intensifying its patrols in the Baltic Sea. This measure was taken because two undersea cables between Estonia and Sweden have been damaged. The Netherlands has sent HNLMS Vlaardingen to join the minehunter squadron.

In this context, the Defence organisation is maintaining its contribution to Operation Interflex in the United Kingdom.
