No U.S. Injuries After Iranian Patrol Craft Shone Laser At U.S. Attack Helicopter

IRGCN vessels shone a laser multiple times at the aircraft while in flight. Fortunately, no injuries were reported and the aircraft was not damaged.

U.S. Naval Forces Central Command/U.S. 5th Fleet: "IRGCN patrol craft acted unsafe & unprofessional when they shone a laser light at a [26 MEU(SOC)] helo flying in the Arabian Gulf last night. No injuries & no equipment were damaged. U.S. forces will continue to operate anywhere int'l law allows".
