NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION — On July 1-2 and July 9, 2025, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will conduct an air defense exercise named FALCON VIRGO at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
The exercise involves flights between midnight and 5:30 a.m. EDT each day in the National Capital Region. Some flights may occur at approximately 2,500 feet (762 meters) and could be visible from the ground. Should inclement weather arise, the exercise may be rescheduled to July 11, 2025.
