Search for Crew of Houthi-Sunk Vessel Eternity C Called Off
The decision to end the search was made by the vessel’s owner to prioritize the safe return of the 10 rescued individuals, leaving 11 crew members unaccounted for.
RED SEA — On July 13, 2025, maritime security firms Diaplous and Ambrey concluded the search for the missing crew of the Liberia-flagged, Greek-operated bulk carrier Eternity C, which sank on July 9, 2025, following Houthi attacks on July 7 and 8, 2025.
The vessel, en route from Berbera to Jeddah with a cargo of soy, was attacked using drones, rocket-propelled grenades, and small craft, approximately 50 nautical miles off Hodeidah, Yemen.
