Out of an abundance of caution, the U.S. Embassy has advised its personnel to exercise increased vigilance and has instructed Mission personnel to comply with a temporary halt to movement into facilities at Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and Camp Patriot. Access to those facilities is limited to essential personnel only at this time.

Given the complex and rapidly changing security environment, we urge U.S. citizens in Kuwait to exercise increased vigilance and personal security awareness.
