According to the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), three members of the UAE armed forces and one member of the Bahrain defense force were killed in a terrorist attack in Somalia.
The statement added that two others were injured as a result of the "terrorist attack" in the Republic of Somalia while "performing their work duties in training and qualifying in the Somali Armed Forces, which it says "falls within the bilateral agreement between the UAE and the Republic of Somalia in Framework of military cooperation between the two countries".
