A merchant vessel was attacked by a UAS as it was navigating the Indian Ocean 300 and 400 nautical miles southeast of the Horn of Africa overnight on April 26th.
YEMEN - An Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), also known as an Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) has been reported to have attacked a merchant vessel as it was navigating the Indian Ocean 300 and 400 nautical miles southeast of the Horn of Africa overnight on April 26th.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) just released the report of the attack, and said that the vessel and crew are reported to be safe and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call.
