MIDDLE EAST - After a report was received regarding a vessel that was experiencing disruption to its electronic navigation systems (GPS/AIS) between April 2nd and 3rd, the UKMTO has released another notice asking vessels experiencing navigation disruptions in the region to notify them:

Reports Of GPS/AIS Disruption Near Ras Al Zour, Saudi Arabia

SAUDI ARABIA - A vessel has reported experiencing electronic navigation systems (GPS/AIS) disruption 90 nautical miles east of Ras Al Zour, Saudi Arabia between April 2nd and April 3rd. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) advises vessels in the region to transit with caution and to report any irregular activity.
