US Carries Out Airstrike Against Al-Shabaab, Operations Against The Group In Somalia Continue
On June 11, the Somalia Ministry of Information reported eliminating 13 members of the Al-Shabaab terrorist organization, and destroying a weapons cache in Ceel Baraf.
SOMALIA — Between June 10-11, 2025, U.S. Africa Command, in support of the Somali National Army (SNA), and along with international partners, conducted a planned operation in the Middle Shabelle region, according to the Somalian government, and U.S. Africa command.
