US Carries Out Humanitarian Aid Airdrop Into Northern Gaza
To date the U.S. has dropped nearly 1,001 tons of humanitarian assistance.
GAZA - The United States carried out a humanitarian aid airdrop into Northern Gaza on April 21st using four C-130s to drop 50,688 Meals Ready To Eat (MREs).
A statement released by U.S. Central Command said, "To date the U.S. has dropped nearly 1,001 tons of humanitarian assistance. During today's mission one bundle landed in the sea.
USCENTCOM does not assess civilian harm or damage to infrastructure at this time but continues to monitor the situation."
Central Command Statement On April 21 Humanitarian Assistance Drop
U.S. Central Command conducted a humanitarian assistance airdrop into Northern Gaza on April 21, 2024, at 11:56 A.M. (Gaza time) to provide essential relief to civilians in Gaza affected by the ongoing conflict.
The joint operation included four U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft. The U.S. C-130’s dropped 50,688 Meals Ready to Eat (MREs), providing life-saving humanitarian assistance in Northern Gaza.
